How to Use Remote Support
Follow these simple steps to connect with our technician
Download the App
Click the download button to save SplashtopSOS.exe to your computer.
Run the Application
Double-click the downloaded file to launch Splashtop SOS. You may see a security warning—click "Run" or "Yes" to proceed. This is normal for downloaded applications.
Share the Session Code
Once the app opens, you'll see a 9-digit session code. Provide this code to your technician via phone, email, or your support ticket.
Allow Connection
When the technician connects, you'll see a prompt asking for permission. Click "Accept" to allow the connection. You can disconnect at any time by closing the application.
Support Session Complete
Once your issue is resolved, the technician will disconnect. You can then close the Splashtop SOS window. No installation is required—the app runs temporarily and doesn't remain on your computer.

What if I can't download or run the app?

Can the technician access my computer without permission?
Absolutely not. The technician cannot connect to your computer without you first running Splashtop SOS and sharing your session code. Even then, you must click "Accept" when the connection request appears. You are always in control.
